What artist advancing covers

Every booked show comes with a long tail of logistics: flights that connect, hotels near the venue or airport, ground transport that actually shows up, a technical rider the promoter has read and agreed to, hospitality that matches what was asked for, and paperwork that clears you to enter the country. Advancing is the process of confirming all of it, with every promoter and venue on the run before it becomes a problem at 2 AM in the hotel lobby.

We do this for single shows and for complete tours with multiple show dates. You keep playing; we keep the schedule intact.

We call this Advancing Plus

Most of our work is DJ advancing, but it's more than that. We provide Advancing+. Booking agents and managers hand us a run of dates and we take over promoter contact from there. We confirm set times, travel windows, technical setup and backline, and we build a single itinerary the whole party can follow. If you tour with a tour manager, VJ, photographer or lighting op, we advance them too, under the same itinerary. We check in your flights, send everyone in the team their boarding passes and keep in touch with the artist liaison during all show and flight dates. It almost as you have a tour manager with you, but on remote.

Travel, flights and ground transport

We book flights around your set times and your rest, not the cheapest possible routing. Where a saving costs nothing in comfort we’ll take it; where a small saving means a 5 AM connection, we won’t. Ground transport is confirmed for every leg, airport, hotel, venue and back, with the driver details in your itinerary before you land.

Accommodation

We book hotels that are close to the venue, quiet enough to sleep, and briefed on a late check-in. Room type, floor and any specific requests go to the hotel in advance, so check-in is a key and a lift, not a conversation.

Visa and paperwork

Touring internationally means visas, work permits and sometimes carnets. We handle applications in-house where the country allows it, and lean on our network where it doesn’t, which usually comes in well under what an agency charges. We track every deadline so nothing is left to the week before.

Technical and hospitality rider advancing

We send your technical rider and hospitality rider to each venue, chase a written confirmation, and flag anything the venue can’t meet while there’s still time to solve it. On show day that means the booth is as specified and the green room matches what was asked for.

Show-day coordination

On the day of the show we’re reachable. Delayed flight, a venue change, a piece of gear that isn’t set up: we’re the number the promoter and the artist both call, and we sort it while you get ready.

ABOSS, Master Tour, a shared PDF, a spreadsheet, we work in whatever you already use. If your team prefers a printed day sheet at the hotel desk, that’s what they’ll get.
